Using Positive Self-Talk to Conquer Your Goals

Do you struggle to conquer your goals? Do you often have the feeling like you talk yourself out of success?

As soon as you begin setting goals for yourself, that nagging little voice at the back of your mind starts whispering: you can´t do that, you aren´t qualified, no one wants to hear what you have to say…

  • Re-Programming Your Mind 

Affirmations are essentially positive statements that re-program your mind for the positive. The moment you have a self-defeating thought, affirmations allow you to counter that negativity with a motivating statement.

An example of a positive affirmation is: “I am worthy of great success,” or “I see myself in the winner’s circle.”  What this does is replace your negative thoughts with the positive momentum you need to move toward your goals instead of away from them.

You may not realize just how negative your inner dialog really is until you start using positive self-talk on a regular basis. Don´t let your inner voice sabotage your goals right from the start. As your thoughts change for the better, you´ll begin to feel more hopeful and enthusiastic about your ability to set goals and achieve them.
