How To Rewire Your Subconscious Mind

So many people move through their lives never understanding why they make the same mistakes, follow the same patterns and fall into the same ruts, time and time again. They´re unhappy with life as they know it but can´t seem to make any positive changes that stick.

Does that sound at all familiar?

Maybe you’ve read books, taken courses – even attended some personal growth seminars –  but, in the end, you keep falling right back into the same hopeless and debilitating patterns you´ve always followed.

Why does it always seem to be that way?

First off, let me say, you are not alone.

We all struggle to make permanent changes in our lives because our main focus has always been putting information into our conscious mind. Here’s the problem…

Your conscious mind is not what directs your behaviors and belief system

If you want to change your behaviors, you have to first rewire the hard-drive in your mind: your subconscious.

How Does Your Subconscious Mind Work?

The subconscious is the largest part of your mind. It contains all the messages you’ve ever received from the day you were born. It literally holds millions upon millions of thoughts grouped into clusters that form beliefs, mindsets and character traits.

The relationship between the conscious and subconscious minds is like an iceberg. You can think of the conscious mind as the tip that is visible above the water, while the subconscious is represented by the huge lower portion hidden beneath.

You may not be able to see the subconscious in action, but it certainly plays a major role in the voyage you on called life!

The subconscious is the place where all of your learned behaviors reside. Once you learn to walk, you no longer need to think about how to life up and place one foot in front of the other to take the next step. Your subconscious mind automatically does all that for you!

Your subconscious learns behavior through practice and repetition. Just as it learned to control your footsteps when you were learning to walk, it also controls each step you take on your life´s journey based on what you´ve reinforced along the way.

The great news is you can rewire your subconscious mind by feeding it new information and reinforcing new thoughts and action!

Here are my top strategies for changing your mind so you can transform your life:

Affirmations ~

Affirmations work to transform your subconscious by using positive, personal, present tense statements to overwrite negative thinking that has become embedded in your mind. By repeating these empowering thoughts, you can create and reinforce new positive pathways in your subconscious.

Doing this, leads your subconscious to cause you to act in new ways that are in agree with your newly developing positive attitudes. For example, repeating: “I choose healthy foods at each meal” can change how you think about the foods you choose to eat.

Visualization ~

Visualization has to do with creating detailed mental pictures that depict a desired outcome so you can see success for yourself. These images stimulate the subconscious into accepting them as reality, which then helps direct your overall behavior and actions. Top athletes around the world use this technique in preparation for competition.

Hypnosis ~

Some types of therapy work with the subconscious mind, and hypnosis is one of them.  Hypnosis works by easing you into a state of extreme relaxation. Once you’re in this state, the conscious mind releases its grip, making the subconscious mind easier to access.

While under hypnosis, it’s much easier to reprogram the subconscious into accepting new thoughts as reality.

Subliminal Audios ~

You can use subliminal audios while you sleep. The conscious mind listens to music or someone speaking on one level, while the subconscious mind hears another layer of information recorded beneath the audible portion.

Using techniques like these can help you reprogram your subconscious mind and remove the burden of the many negative thoughts buried there. Imagine what it would be like to live your life without continually falling prey to the hopeless and debilitating behavioral patterns that have been driving you up until now!

When you take steps to transform your negative outlook into positive empowering thoughts that inspire you, you will accomplish so much more in your life. Why wait? Release your mind from its negative programming by rewiring your subconscious.

It´s easy enough to do.

Choose one of the methods I shared with you above and get started today. Every minute, day and year you let pass by is a lost opportunity for excelling in the only life you have to live.

I know you deserve SO much more…

I’ve been doing the affirmations first thing in a morning … As I go to sleep and at any point during the day when negative chatter starts … I do the visualisation at bed time too. And I meditate positive mediations .. Also when a negative thought arises i put a positive one in its place . Also i learned that if i sing a ” stop ” song or happy song it stops the negative sprial . And I can tell you for me its been the best thing I could have done for myself I have less bad days just maybe small points in the day but its been and done quickly …. I’m so worth all the effort I’ve been putting in
